How does a CFP 60k Contract look like?

In our CFP program, we use 4 different types of contract sizes. 5k, 10k, 30k and 60k.

This is how the contract for any 60k program will look like. It does not matter whether it is HU-cash, 6-max Holdem, MTT or any other program. Terms are the same unless otherwise mentioned.

If you have been a member with a smaller contract (30k or smaller), then you will want to read this very carefully. We enter the professional level and the conditions are very strict.

Read the text of the contract below:

The CFP 60k Contract

Sharing of information / Non-Disclosure Agreement

The player will be given information from the BPC team and coaches about the coaching program and business of BPC. Under no circumstance is the player allowed to share details of the cooperation, strategy and any business details with anybody unless given written permission by BPC to do so. When in doubt what can be shared with the public, ask BPC.

Security Deposit

Before entering the CFP program, the player will pay a Security Deposit of 500 EUR to BPC. BPC will return to the player his Security Deposit after the player has successfully finished the CFP program. Before that, this Security Deposit is non-refundable. The reason for this is that our coaches are very expensive (we only work with the best) and we don’t want people to join, win a lot and run away.

Profit split

The profit split will be 50% of the full contract amount. In your case, your goal is to win 60.000 Euro. 30.000 Euro goes to you, 30.000 Euro goes to BPC. After that, you have a world-class education and keep 100% of future profits to yourself! If you earn nothing, we get nothing. Simple and fair.
Many of our players earn in their first month after finishing the program over 20.000 Euro. Some even more. While they paid money for their education, they made the smartest long-term investment in their life.

We have one exception for the Spin&Go and MTT program. If your winnings are still below the contract limit (for example 60.000€), and you hit a big multiplier or tourney win for 100.000€, then you will pay 50% of that big win even if the total amount will exceed the amount of the contract (for example 60.000€).
Why is this fair? Spins have a very high rake and part of that rake goes into financing multipliers. At MTT's it's the same story. The rake paid goes towards higher winnings, so this is the fair way of doing business.

The player also understands that for the duration of the contract, rakeback and all type of bonuses are part of “profits”.

Choice of poker site, affiliate partner and minimum playing hours:

Unlike the micro/smaller contracts where the player is free to play wherever they want and how many hours they want, the professional 60k contracts are different.

  • Student agrees to play on the site the coach tells him to
  • Student agrees to play the games the coach tells him to
  • Student only plays through deals provided by BPC (we give the world's best deals anyways through CFP Points. No scammy and rigged rake races. No bullshit. Obvious exceptions are if games are on pokerstars where no affiliate deal is offered. Every other exception must be given by the coach in written). The reason we are so strict here is not only because of the safety of your bankroll, but also because of how scummy affiliates are in general. Next to that, your coach knows on which site you make the most money.
We do not care, nor do we want to hear how great you think your current affiliate is. Experience teaches us better. No discussion here. We're not after $10 or $20 extra per month. We are after you making 10k+ a month. That's the only way we make profit. If you live in a country with restricted options, that is not your fault and we understand (or similar cases). So don't worry
  • Student agrees to play a minimum of 30hours/week on average and/or fulfill a minimum required # of tournaments or # of hands given by the coach
  • Student might be required by the coach to post & comment hands on forums for training purposes

Failure at any of these points means loss of security deposit and the student being kicked out of the program. Profits made up to this point are shared as per the contract. See details below. This program is not for babies, only for the Hansthegreat's, Atvars and other CFP superstars that you have read about. They agreed to even tougher rules. And that's the reason why they succeeded.

The intensity of the program is extremely high, coaches are more expensive (we are talking about people crushing NL600 and NL1000 in today's games). The information you will learn gives you the ability to earn hundreds of thousands of Euro in the future, as many of our students have proven.
This also means that we have NO tolerance for any student who wants to do things "his way". You're training on the best team in the whole world. We have no room for crybabies and little vaginas.

Termination of the contract

The contract is automatically terminated successfully once the player has paid the full amount of the coaching for profits agreement.

Quitting/Termination before the end of the contract:

The student can end the contract at any time. We understand that sometimes life happens. Maybe you are a little cunt and it took you some time to find out. Maybe your priorities in life changed. While we believe it is very important to not quit, you should still have that option if it is really needed.

The student understands that while the total deal is 50-50, BPC claims a higher % on the first money won, because we take all the risk of giving an expensive education and high-quality coaches to the player. We do not want people to join, suck out knowledge and quit. In comparison, at “normal coaching” you will pay a lot of money without any guarantee that you will win anything.

Here are the exact numbers and %
in case you decide to quit:

Example:

Josh joined the program 4 months ago and made 36k in profit so far. But now his wife got pregnant and his boss needs more work hours, so he doesn’t have time for poker anymore, and has to quit the program. How much of the profit share does he pay according to the contract?

9600+7200+6000 = 22.8k. Since he already paid 18k up to that point (50% in BPC share payments), it is only 4.8k extra in order to quit (and keep all future profits for himself in case he decides to play again). He didn’t pay anything out of his pocket, only a share of his profits made inside the program.

BPC receives the right to end the contract at any time at its own discretion. In this case, the player is only required to pay 50% of profits made so far (without the player having to pay any additional %). In addition to that, the player will keep full access to all materials and content (worth thousands of Euro) for a minimum of 1 year. BPC has no incentive to do this because all the time invested into coaching and improving the player would be lost.

BPC Share payments

BPC will request payments monthly, and typically between 25-50% of the player’s overall profits. We have made many exceptions (lower cash outs) for players demonstrating extra effort.

The student is obliged to respond to the cash-out request and pay. It is the student's responsibility to pay attention and withdraw winnings from the poker sites regularly.

Any issue can always be discussed with your coach and the BPC team. We have great relationships with our students. If the student has not paid the requested share within 15 days, it means loss of the security deposit, termination of the contract and share of winnings to be paid as written above.
Communication is key, and any issue can always be resolved positively, as has been the case many times in the past.

Example A:

Frank is a 6-max Advanced student. During March, he made 2040 EUR in profits at the table. At the start of April, he will receive a BPC share payment request between 510-1020 EUR.

Example B

John is a 6-max advanced student. During March, he made 9800 EUR in profits at the table. But he wants to move up to NL600, and needs the bankroll. He is serious, does all the homework, plays and studies practically every day. He easily plays 100k hands a month and studies hard. He asks BPC to postpone his March payment, and the payment is postponed. We understand that the faster the player moves up, the better it is for both sides. But the player has to demonstrate that he is really pushing for it himself. Words do not count - action speaks louder than words. So don't ask unless you have already put in serious hours. Your promise or words about the future mean nothing. Talk is cheap. Action speaks.

Financial decisions and bankroll management

During the contract, all financial decisions regarding the student's bankroll for the program must be approved by BPC. If the player needs to make a cashout from this bankroll, he has to do make a request to BPC, in order to keep the accounting clean. We are 100% professional and past winning players have thanked us for their guidance on “non-poker” issues as well.

Special Add-on for Spin&Go and MTT contracts:

The profit split will be 50% of all winnings until you have reached the 60.000€ profit mark. Here is a very important exception. If your winnings are still below 60.000€, and you hit a big multiplier and win 15.000€, then you will pay 50% of that big win even if the total amount exceeds the 60.000€.
Practical example: John has been studying hard and after 5 months has made already 50.000€ in profits. It is his lucky day and he hits a big multiplier and he wins 15.000€. As per the rule, he owes to BPC 7.500€. He has already paid 25.000€ and will pay another 7.500€. The total amount paid will be 32.500€ in this example.

Why is this fair? Spins have a very high rake and part of that rake goes into financing multipliers.

The same rule will be the case for MTTs, if you hit a big score before the contract is finished. The idea is the same, we pay the full downside (rake) so we need to also take the upside of the equation.

Another important part to mention is that there will never be reimbursements made by BPC. This means. If you win 5.000 Euro, pay your share and go on a downswing, BPC will not pay money back. However, we will never ask for any additional money unless your total profit - in this example - will be over 5.000 Euro. The reason for this is that accounting will become a nightmare and we pay a lot of transaction fees, meaning if we transfer money as a company often enough, there is no profit left to be made.

If the player plays a satellite (usually not permitted unless given permission by the coach) successfully, he shall trade T-dollars (pokerstars) and/or sell action until he reaches his average buy-in. In case a satellite is won through other means (such as entry through vip-status or vip-points) the student is responsible for travel & housing unless explicitly agreed otherwise with coaches. In other words, discuss things with your coach first and reach an agreement.

Updating results

The player has to update his progress on each playing day in the software provided by BPC. Taking breaks or vacation is allowed, but has to be communicated in advance. Disappearing for more than 7 days without notice will result in loss of security deposit and termination of the contract with all financial details as explained written above.

The student will also have to keep track of his progress in public blogs. The student does not have to reveal his identity, but this is about public accountability, which is very important towards success. Exceptions can be made if the coach agrees.

Unless otherwise agreed to, there are no minimum requirements per se, the player strives to play at least 10hours per week and inform BPC in case this is not possible (in case the player is busy with job, pregnancy of wife etc) or needs a break.

Sharing Database & Security

The student agrees to send his Database whenever requested for game analysis and verification purposes. Upon request by BPC, the player will give access to his tracking program (PT/HEM etc) and access to his accounts on the poker clients in order to verify the information. The process happens via a screen sharing software like Teamviewer (or similar). BPC will never ask for your passwords or other security information.
